If you hear the singing of the soul, you play the music of life.
Kristina Künzel's own compositions and traditional melodies invite you to dance and dream. Versatile music, from melancholic to lively, is interpreted powerfully and emotionally on various bagpipes, sometimes classical, sometimes modern and takes the listener into foreign worlds, enchants him and makes the dance leg vibrate.
Simply pipes for good vibes, either up close and live or on the newly released album Leileckerland. This also produces sounds that you as a listener do not necessarily expect when you hear the word "dudelsack". Let yourself be surprised, take a look at my website and listen to the different audio samples.
Review Folker Issue 06/2019
Starting with the "unspeakable", two gripping Sorbian dances, Kristina leads the listener through an entertaining, mainly self-composed program of typical bal-folk rhythms, on several bagpipes from the shepherd's pipe family, seasoned alone with a little Moraharpa and overtone flute. A purist, courageous project – its proclaimed, elegant tone shines and captivates to the last note! Information about the CD and more reviews
